New Capabilities Enable More Powerful Automated Information Controls
Naperville, IL – August 1, 2007 – Infogix, Inc., the leading provider of automated information controls, announced today the latest release of two of its Infogix ACR products: ACR/Summary and ACR/Detail. Infogix ACR is an Information Integrity® solution which ensures that a company’s critical business information is Accurate, Consistent, and Reliable. ACR/Detail 3.5 and ACR/Summary 3.5 solutions independently automate the validation of information through summary balancing and detail reconciliation features. The new enhancements in release 3.5 introduce an expanded set of capabilities to enable easier authoring of complex automated information controls that correlate to a company’s business rules. This enables more powerful rule construction in fewer steps. Whereas in earlier versions, a user might need a larger set of information control rules to ensure that a given complex business rule is consistently applied, in version 3.5 a single rule may achieve the desired result. In addition, the new features in ACR/Summary 3.5 and ACR/Detail 3.5 support a wider array of existing and new input data formats such as XML standards. This is a key element when authoring Automated Information Controls, as it’s important to support, as much as possible, the existing format that business data lives in. This helps to avoid the risk of introducing information error during extraction or translation.
