Unitech Systems Announces New Enhancements to its ACR Product Portfolio

Release 3.2 Provides Improved Performance, Functionality, and an Improved User Experience

Naperville, Ill. — August 1, 2005 — Unitech Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated information control solutions, today announced the launch of the latest release of its industry-leading balancing and reconciliation solutions ACR/Summary®, ACR/Detail®, and ACR/XP™. ACR Release 3.2 includes enhancements that Unitech Systems customers have requested to help ensure the accuracy of their information. As part of the product development process, Unitech Systems developed a program to solicit direct customer feedback on what would add to the overall product offering.

"ACR Release 3.2 includes more than a dozen customer requested enhancements including file creation data extraction and formatting, history deletion, duplicate detection, and performance improvements," said Maureen Polte, Senior Vice President and Group Leader of Product Development at Unitech Systems.

Unitech Systems' customers with a current maintenance agreement can request a free upgrade to Release 3.2 by calling +1.630.505.1890 or e-mailing support@unitechsys.com.

ACR 3.2 Product Update Highlights

  • Additional Cross Platform Capabilities: Users now have the ability to generate files that can be shared across platforms, including the mainframe, Microsoft® Windows®, and UNIX®.
  • Flexible Data Extraction, Reconciliation & Printing Controls: Users have greater controls around data by extracting the first occurrence of a count, amount, date, or text value for each key encountered during processing. Reconciliation can be performed with or without sorting the data, and printing numeric values with or without formatting.
  • Simplified History File Management: New control options simplify history database maintenance by allowing users to delete histories for specified jobs, dates, cycles, masked fields, and ACR/Detail keys.
  • Accelerate Cross-platform File Comparison: More complex controls and flexibility around the data and process environments that can determine whether the data in two files, from the same or different platforms, are identical.
