Information Integrity and Quality Sessions to be Featured at The American Society for Quality (ASQ) Conference

Ramon Nayar of Unitech Systems to speak at ASQ World Congress on Quality and Improvement Conference

Naperville, Ill. — May 16, 2005 — Ramon Nayar, a Vice President and Unit Leader at Unitech Systems, and Chairman of the ASQ Information Integrity Interest Group will be speaking at two sessions for the 2005 ASQ World Congress on Quality and Improvement Conference. This event will be held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, on May 16-18, 2005.

Both sessions will be facilitated on Tuesday, May 17, 2005. The first session, "Keeping your SOX on: Quality Improvement for Sustaining SOX Compliance" will uncover how Sarbanes-Oxley has changed the way businesses operate post 404 compliance efforts. The ideas from this session have the potential to provide a comprehensive framework for instilling quality-based improvements for ongoing SOX activities. The second session, "Beyond Compliance: Exchanging Information with Integrity for Quality Improvement," takes a closer look at the Basel II standard, data and information roles, and how quality principles work with Information Integrity® concepts to address the need for a comprehensive risk management framework.

"Unitech Systems develops automated information control solutions that directly help companies comply with SOX and Basel II, and are an integral part of a company's overall risk management planning," stated Corey Ferengul, Senior Vice President and Group Leader of Market Development at Unitech Systems. "Ramon will provide the insight that ASQ members need to consider when linking quality frameworks, information integrity concepts, and targeted compliance standards."
