New Release Delivers Enhanced Features and Performance
Naperville, Ill. – November 11, 2003 – Unitech Systems, Inc., the global leader in Information Integrity® Software and Solutions, today announced the release of ACR/XP 3.0, the latest version of its cross-platform control solution. ACR/XP – a key part of the ACR/Plus® product suite – allows companies to automatically access and validate information across multiple MVS™, UNIX®, AS/400®, and Microsoft® Windows® platforms.
"ACR/XP is a cross-platform control tool that synchronizes balancing and reconciliation functions in distributed environments," said Timothy Augustine, Vice President of Market Development at Unitech Systems. "One of our customers, a global financial services firm, uses ACR/XP to gain complete visibility into their mission-critical business processes, and to quickly identify and respond to missing or inaccurate information."
ACR/XP 3.0 is available for all supported platforms – including MVS, UNIX, AS/400, and Microsoft Windows 2000 and NT servers – and features several enhancements. Release 3.0:
- Delivers improved speed and performance for cross-platform history data retrieval and synchronization.
- Includes enhanced notification capabilities that provide the source of all data shared between platforms.
- Provides a built-in back up controller that allows users to take their main ACR/XP controller down for maintenance – without interrupting the flow of critical business processes.
