Unitech Systems Unveils Real-Time Transaction Validation Solution – INstream™

Naperville, Ill. – June 17, 2003 – Unitech Systems, Inc., the global leader in Information Integrity® Software and Solutions, announces the launch of INstream 3.0, a new release of its transaction validation solution. As part of Unitech's Information Integrity enterprise-wide set of solutions, INstream provides real-time control and visibility into the flow of business information, ensuring that errors in high-value transactions will be detected immediately.

"INstream performs high-volume monitoring of transactions from multiple sources, senses errors as they occur, and instantly alerts the users before errors affect systems or customers," according to Timothy Augustine, Vice President of Market Development at Unitech Systems, Inc. "INstream works today to protect companies whose complex systems and processes combine tens of millions of batch and real-time transactions every day."

One of North America's largest financial institutions implemented INstream to monitor its business transactions, saving the organization thousands of hours in researching and reporting on the timely receipt of information from other areas of the bank. "INstream is a vital part of our new system," said the senior application analyst responsible for its implementation. "INstream processes hundreds of thousands of transactions a day, each one validated according to the business rules for the differing types of transactions."

INstream is built upon 20 years of experience protecting the integrity of business information flows within and between the world's largest corporations. Companies experience exponential increases in business process complexity, system disparity, and real-time access from Web applications – an environment that breeds opportunities for data loss, delays, and processing errors. INstream's transaction tracking sensors provide real-time error detection as data flows through a company's continuous data streams.

INstream can be implemented across corporate enterprises, and is especially suitable for the financial services, telecommunications, and insurance industries, and companies with mission-critical systems, real-time requirements or continuous 24/7 operations.
